Little Ray of Giving 2023: Spreading Joy Through Community Generosity

The holiday season is a time for joy, celebration, and spreading kindness. At Ray White Pelican Waters, we’re thrilled to announce the return of our annual Christmas charity initiative, A Little Ray of Giving.

This heartfelt initiative is dedicated to giving back to our local communities through charity involvement and donations. Our focus is to collect gifts and presents, promoting the spirit of giving to those who need it most. A Little Ray of Giving allows everyone to connect and contribute, fostering a sense of community and support during the holiday season.

This year, we’ve teamed up with The Salvation Army, specifically the Caloundra branch, to collect and distribute donations. The Salvation Army has been a beacon of hope for countless families and individuals, providing much-needed support, especially during the festive season. We are thrilled to extend our support to this wonderful organisation.

To participate, we encourage everyone to contribute by donating unwrapped gifts to our office. Our cut-off date for gift collections is by the end of the day on the 12th of December. The Ray White Pelican Waters office will then ensure that all donations are handed over to The Salvation Army on the 13th of December.

The Salvation Army welcomes any gifts, as all items contribute significantly to filing our gift bags for the children. Specifically, the areas they often fall short in are gifts for older children (ages 9-12). Things we like for these children are using sporting equipment (balls, boogie boards, etc.) and preteen girl gifts (handbags, jewellery, craft, etc.). Additionally, games and puzzles are always great and appreciated.

We believe that even the smallest contribution can bring immense joy to those in need. Your generosity plays a pivotal role in making a significant difference in our community during this special time of year.
